Sam Cartwright is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in neuroscience. He joined the BACH Lab in September 2019 as it poses the perfect combination of exercise and neuroimaging studies; he is looking to get his PhD in exercise neuroscience, investigating the neurocognitive impact of exercise. Sam is a personal trainer at Pitt, enjoying exercise with friends and training clients. He is involved on campus as a member of the Student Health Advisory Board, which works with the Counseling Center and other University health centers to improve Pitt’s health and wellness facilities. When he’s not working on campus he enjoys going to restaurants and small local music venues around Pittsburgh.
